Human Growth Hormone!
What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear that?
When we were young and naïve, HGH conjured images of a magical potion that would make us grow until we became as huge as Arnie or some of the other pros.
A few years later, as we dabbled in all sorts of gear, we realized that in its exogenous form, HGH is the slowest acting hormone in the world.
And despite the term ‘growth’ in the name, its benefits are not entirely related to growth.
But it does have a place in performance enhancement.
That is if you can afford it and you can get yourself pharma grade stuff that’s not under dosed or spiked with other AAS.
Let’s talk some facts and crush some myths about Human Growth Hormone.

What is HGH?
HGH is a naturally-occurring, protein-based hormone produced by the pituitary gland.
In a healthy body, the level of GH spikes during childhood when the body is developing.
Everything from the growth of musculoskeletal tissue and organs, to tasks like the metabolism of nutrients, maintaining a healthy lipid profile and lipolysis are controlled by HGH.
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Exogenous HGH is also highly anabolic and signals receptor cells in muscle and bone tissue to grow.
In other words, you will grow bigger and stronger on Human Growth Hormone. The only caveat is that it takes time.
It’s not an anabolic steroid that will prime your body for packing on lean muscle in days.
Instead, it is a very beneficial hormone that will slowly but surely recompose your entire body in the span of a year.
For a long time, exogenous HGH was sourced from the pituitary gland of human cadavers. Not very appealing. Nor does it sound very hygienic.
As expected, the FDA cracked down on this primitive extraction method and HGH was banned.
It was in 1985, that the first synthetic version of the hormone, called Somatropin was launched. It shares residues of 191 amino acids that makes it most identical to natural growth hormone.
What are the effects of HGH?

HGH is prescribed only for therapeutic uses, mainly for treating pituitary gland deficiencies in children and adults.
Other than this, it has also been used occasionally for treating muscle wasting caused due to AIDS, for the treatment of burn victims and for anti-aging treatments.
However, it is in a performance enhancement setting that the effects of Human Growth Hormone are truly dramatic.
A better you:
That’s the best way to put it. HGH will make you a better version of yourself. Your muscles will become harder, the skin will become tighter and younger, you will be more energetic, you will recover sooner from injury, your body will be leaner, you will lose fat and you will gain muscle. The results are so remarkable that almost every adult would want to use exogenous Human Growth Hormone.
Better sleep:
HGH gives you deep, restful, uninterrupted sleep. If you have trouble sleeping or are struggling to sleep due to your use of anabolic steroids, then HGH might be THE thing that the doctor ordered.
Anabolism:
While Human Growth Hormone doesn’t give you quick results like anabolic steroids do, it does promote the growth of lean muscle mass. When you gain muscle and lose fat at the same time, you look like a totally different person. One of the big differences is that the muscle tissue that your body produces during an HGH cycle will be retainable. In other words, permanent gains unlike glycogen and water that steroid users gain. Most users club Human Growth Hormone with anabolic steroids to amplify their gains and to negate some of the side effects of steroid use.
IGF-1:
One of the primary effects of HGH is an increase in the levels of IGF-1 or Insulin-like-growth-factor 1. This naturally occurring hormone is immensely beneficial for the body and helps boost immunity, build muscle, protect brain cells from damage, is anti-inflammatory, is cardio-protective and keeps you looking younger.
What are the challenges and risks that come with using HGH?

If HGH is indeed the fountain of youth, as they call it, why doesn’t everybody use it? The fact is that since Ibutamoren (MK-677) was born, most people would rather go with this best sarm alternative to HGH.
Why do people still use Testosterone and other anabolic compounds for muscle gain?
That’s because HGH is unbelievably expensive. There are only a handful of companies that manufacture pharmaceutical grade Human Growth Hormone. This has driven the prices through the roof.
Think about the added cost of getting your Human Growth Hormone passed through customs. It is banned in most countries.
Sylvester Stallone was caught trying to bring in exogenous HGH into Australia. Despite him having a prescription for the dose, all his vials of HGH were seized.
Moreover, HGH should be taken for at least 6-8 months for you to gain some of the benefits. That’s one injection every day.
If you thought pinning one injection of Test every week was painful, imagine pinning every day for the next year.
But, if you can afford it and score some legit stuff, there’s no other hormone that’s as well tolerated as Human Growth Hormone by the body.
The side effects are minimal if any.
- Water retention: Human Growth Hormone may cause water retention near your wrists and ankles. The increased water retention can also cause carpal tunnel syndrome, a painful condition.
- Headaches: Human Growth Hormone can cause head-splitting headaches. These usually subside on their own as your body gets used to the hormone.
- HGH Flu: Some users experience the HGH flu during the first few weeks of the cycle. No medical intervention is required. It subsides on its own in a few days.
- Tingling of the fingers: Another HGH side effect that subsides on its own, a tingling sensation in the fingers on your hands and legs.
- Short term Type–2 diabetes: One of the undesirable but temporary side effects of Human Growth Hormone is that it reduces insulin resistance. This can cause short term type-ii diabetes in some users.

HGH Dosage and stacks
Most men get great results with 3-4iu’s of HGH per day for 6-8 months. That’s a low dose and a relatively safe one with minimum risk of side effects.
Some users start off with double that dose, that is 6-8iu’s per day and yet do not experience any side effects. But the results are more pronounced.
It is recommended that you do not exceed this dose as it increases the risk of side effects exponentially.
One of the best parts about Human Growth Hormone is that you can inject it subcutaneously instead of intra-muscular injections which are more painful.
Also, consistent HGH injections on a site causes localized fat loss. That’s why most men prefer injecting it into their abdominal area.
Also, while you can use Human Growth Hormone as a standalone hormone, it will significantly amplify the results that you get with an anabolic steroid cycle. Hence, seasoned bodybuilders will use it in synergy with steroids.
